Equestrian federation was constituted in 1967 as Equestrian Federation of India (EFI). In 1971 , EFI became member of Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI). EFI is located at WZ-114D , Radha Krishna Temple, Todapur Village, New Delhi - 110012
Federation flag is of French Grey and Blue colour with the EFI Crest in the centre. The top half of the flag is French Grey.
