I am proud to be a member of the EFI, and keenly follow all the activities and events they have to promote dressage. However I do feel that the government could do much more in promoting this particular sport, and encourage the members to become more professional in competing with the other countries of the world, where riding and in particular dressage is very professional. We should hold more competitions, and have many more events which will get us used to competing on a regular basis. German horses, suited for dressage, should be imported and bred in India to improve the performing ability of the animals. I do hope that an Indian rider can win the Olympics one day soon!
- Few Lines about Me
I have been riding since a very early age, and was taught by the military school in Calcutta. After I got married I shifted to Delhi and gave up riding for a very long time. I have now restarted and aim to begin competing soon, and keenly follow dressage events abroad. I own three horses that I am very fond of, and am also very interested in polo and watch matches regularly during the season.
